ON QUESTION OF BAHUVRIHI WITH AUSTRIAN MARKEDNESS

Abstract.
The author considers the semantic-stylistic features of possessive-metonymical compound words (bahuvrihi) typical of the Austrian sublanguage of the German literary language, pays attention to both the interpretation of the term, and the distinctive features of composites of this type as compared to the proper German formations, analyzes the structure and semantics of lexical units with the Austrian markedness, and reveals their national specificity.
