THE IMAGE OF MOSCOW UNIVERSITY: LEXICAL DOMINANTS

Abstract. The author researches and compares the lexical structures of texts describing Moscow University of the first half of the XIX th century, considers associative-semantic field as the main content element of text lexical organization, singles out the most essential elements of associative-semantic fields – “university”, “student” and “professor”, and shows that the means of these dominants realization are varied in A. I. Gertsen and I. A. Goncharov.
