THE USE OF BOARD GAMES IN TEACHING OF ENGLISH AS FOREIGN LANGUAGE TO TECHNICAL HIGHER EDUCATION ESTABLISHMENT STUDENTS

Abstract. The author discusses the use of board games in the teaching of English as a foreign language to technical higher education establishment students, shows the specificity of this type of game, pays special attention to the functions that board games perform in the process of foreign language teaching, the selection criteria and the requirements for their use in classes by a teacher, and gives the description of the stages of board game-playing.
