TRANSLATING FAIRY TALE

Abstract. The author reveals the main approaches to fairy tale translation as literary artistic genre, considers the main algorithms for fairy tale translation, emphasizes the types of fairy tales: folk fairy tale and literary fairy tale; describes fairy tale functions, and pays special attention to the pre-translation (extralinguistic and linguistic) analysis of origin language fairy tale.
