Abstract.
The author analyzes the Ryazan' dialect phraseological units, representing people’s ideas about superstitions and evil spirit, pays special attention to the semantics and structure of the presented language factors, and as the sources uses the materials of “Dictionary of Russian people’s dialects”, “Dictionary of Contemporary Russian people’s dialect (village Deulino of Ryazan' district of Ryazan' region)”, “Dictionary of Russian people’s dialects of Ryazan' Meshchera” by V. T. Vanyushechkin and the files of “Ryazan' regional dictionary” of the department of the Russian language and its teaching technique of Ryazan' State University named after S. A. Esenin.
