Abstract.
The authors reveal the meaning of language phraseological units, which are the representation of its national specificity, playing a significant role in the act of cross-cultural communication, where in addition to linguistic knowledge the knowledge of national-specific phenomena is required, tell that the problem of language and culture interaction is one of the central problems in modern linguistics, and pay special attention to the translation of phraseological units together with extralinguistic factors and to the revelation of the presuppositions and implications underlying the text that requires deep penetration into the extra-linguistic context.
