Abstract.
The author basing on the objective and subjective forms of experiment considers the epic songs of olonkho singers of the 30-40s of the XX
th century, pays particular attention to the analysis of initial introductions, which allows revealing the patterns of their formation and use in the songs of epic olonkho, and basing on the obtained results puts forward the theory of the original proto-formula of initial introductions from which later all now available initial introductions of olonkho epic songs originated.
