Abstract.
The author considers some linguo-culturological features of Andean region myths and legends, which were not previously analyzed from the perspective of linguistics, linguo-culturology and textual criticism, in particular analyzes words-symbols, which are the basis of Indian peoples’ worldview, and pays particular attention to connotative meanings that words-symbols get in mythological narrative.
