Abstract.
This article is an overview of existing types of country nomination within the framework of media discourse of immigrant subject-matter by the example of Germany. The features of nominative lexical units specific to this type of discourse in modern media reports (2008-2013) are considered, and the attempt to analyze the nature of changes in different historical periods is undertaken.
