Abstract.
The article is devoted to the consideration of the notion of a political text, as well as its dependence on the factors of extralinguistic nature. The author pays special attention to the study of political text functions that are not limited to informing. The article describes the essence of one variant of political communication products classification, existing in linguistic literature.
