Abstract.
The article is devoted to studying the compliment utterance grammatical structure in the English and Russian modern fiction. Compliment utterances analysis is impossible without taking into account their structural characteristics. The main purposes of the research are the description of compliments language execution and the revelation of their structural models, according to which compliment is created, in the languages under research, its realization grammatical peculiarities consideration.
