“OLD MAGICIAN OF IMAGE PRECISION”: ARTISTIC PRINCIPLE OF WILHELM LEHMANN

Abstract.
The article studies the artistic principle of the German-language poet of the Third Reich Wilhelm Lehmann, which he defined as precision. The poet’s address to the nature in the current social-tense situation is regarded as an escape from reality by his contemporaries. The author of the article presents a new interpretation of Lehmann’s lyrics in the aspect of artistic activity that allows revealing the moral and aesthetic value of his creative work.
