OVERCOMING THE PAST IN THE CREATIVE WORK OF F. FUHMANN

Abstract.
The article considers the meaning of the concept “overcoming the past”, based on the interpretation of Hoffmann’s creative work and Freud’s theory of repression, through the argumentation of the German writer of the middle of the XX century - F. Fuhmann. The author accentuates the urgency of this problem in the modern society and pays special attention to the specifics of realization of the subject under discussion in the writer’s creative work, which presupposes using of myth with its dual nature as a medium, artistically reconsidered by the author and capable of reflecting the real picture of the world and mankind.
