THE MARI-RUSSIAN INTRA-PHRASE CODE SWITCHING

Abstract. The research subject is the Mari-Russian intra-phrase code switching. The peculiarities of integrating the unadapted subordinating phrases of the Russian language into the Mari phrases are revealed: the strategy of combining the units of two typologically different languages, the morphological representation of foreign subordinating phrases and their syntactic functions.
