TRANSLATION EDITING/POST-EDITING IN NEW RESEARCH PARADIGM

Abstract. The issue of translation editing which is actual due to the introduction of machine translation into translation practice is considered in the article. Theoretical substantiation of translation editing is presented by the conception of translation space. The authors state that at the stage of post-editing a translator deals with an imperfect text of translation using of which in post-translation space results in the creation of quality - balanced - translation which is integrated into the receiving culture.
