Abstract.
The article is devoted to the analysis of the communicative character type "bore". The differential characteristics of the notion "bore" are considered; the minimum of the notion content is specified with the help of the informants' survey; the peculiarities of communicative behaviour of a bore as a typified communicative personality are analyzed and described by the material of fiction and contexts of reflection.
