Abstract.
In the article the author considers the phenomenon of linguocultural interference which accompanies the process of cross-cultural communication and the identification of the ways of its overcoming in the speech acts realization: evaluation, gratitude, praise and so on and gives examples of her own comparative analysis of differences in communicative behaviour of the English and the Russians which is carried out by the material received as a result of respondents poll and inquiry.
