NOMINATIONS OF AMERICAN FOOTBALL PLAYERS’ TACTILE NONVERBAL ACTIONS

Abstract.
This article is devoted to the consideration of American football players’ tactile nonverbal actions. Actions of this kind, as a rule, are a manifestation of the emotions of different nature: negative (among which anger and rage are dominated) and positive (where joy and delight are in the first place). Actions caused by negative emotions are presented in the text by verbal nominations with the semantics of knock and collision; actions caused by positive emotions - by nominations with the semantics of hugs and pats.
