Abstract.
The article is devoted to the analysis of G. Yushkov's small drama «Spoiling Blood». The author focuses on the characters of the heroes of the play - "basis of life" and "spoiling blood" which were typical for the rural community at the end of the ХХ century. Creating a conflict situation between these characters G. Yushkov reveals a topical problem of the 1990s - degradation of village, gradual destruction of moral values which united rural community previously.
