Abstract.
The article presents the semantic classification of phraseological units. Lexical and grammatical characteristics of phraseology in the modern Kalmyk language are analyzed, and the necessity to develop a learner’s trilingual dictionary of the modern colloquial Kalmyk language with translation into the English and Russian languages is substantiated.
