Abstract.
In the article the question of the need to improve the methods and techniques of the Russian literature teaching in polyethnic groups of secondary specialized educational establishments is raised. The author draws attention to the importance of using in the literature teaching the materials of literary regional studies and proves the effectiveness of this method. The ways and means of introduction of literary material of regional studies in educational process are considered.
