PLURAL NUMBER IN THE SYSTEM OF PRONOUNS OF THE KUMYK AND ENGLISH LANGUAGES

Abstract.
The article touches on the basic means of expressing the plural of the pronouns in the different language systems - Kumyk and English. Studying the category of plural of the pronouns indicates that Kumyk and English languages show both the similarities and differences. Lexico-grammatical and morphological similarities in the system of pronouns of the analyzed languages should be considered as linguistic universals. Differences in the pronouns are conditioned by the peculiarities of the languages themselves representing typologically different families.
