CONNOTATIVE SEMANTICS OF THE PHRASEOLOGICAL UNIT TO KISS THE SOLES (OF SMB)

Abstract. The article analyzes the specificity of connotative semantics of the verbal phraseological unit to kiss the soles. The study of the genetic basis of speech unit, its functioning within the contexts allowed formulating the conclusions about the composition of a connotative macro component of phraseological semantics and its conditionality by the way of unit formation. A psycholinguistic experiment confirmed the special status of the emotive component in the contextual implementation of connotative properties of the unit.
