STYLE PECULIARITY OF “THE DROLL STORIES” BY H. DE BALZAC

Abstract.
In the article, studying the stylistic peculiarities of “The Droll Stories” by H. de Balzac, the authors point out their originality. This literary work stands out against the background of all the creative work of the French writer chiefly due to special stylistic execution. The authors of the paper come to the conclusion that the combination of literary heritage with the writer’s manner distinctive for Balzac contributes to the creation of the unique style of “The Droll Stories”.
