Abstract.
The article is devoted to the study of adventure genres in national literature, their manifestation in artistic practice. The origins of the Chuvash adventure literature are identified, the specificity of the genre-formative factors of adventure literature is considered. The typology of the plot of appropriate works and the images of the heroes, the nature of narration in adventure genres are presented. The adventure and detective-adventure works of the literature of the peoples of the Volga-Ural region are analyzed.
