Abstract.
The article presents an analysis of early poetic texts of the outstanding Russian writer Vladislav Felitsianovich Khodasevich. His creative work was for the first time studied in our country only in the 80s of the last century. The article considers the poems, written in the period before 1914 and included in the collections “Youth” and “Happy House”, where the image of death is found. This image takes an important place in the creative work of the poet and is one of the key images of the early lyrics of V. F. Khodasevich.
