Abstract. The article deals with the issue of the use of training in the foreign language teaching of students of non-linguistic specialities. The peculiarities of this method are described, its role in the professional foreign language communication teaching of future specialists by the example of future elementary school teachers is shown. Special attention is paid to the exercises that are recommended to be included in trainings in order to create an emotional mood, to stimulate group dynamics and so on.
