Abstract.
In the article the text-formative function of verbal means of expression of the category of definiteness-indefiniteness in the Yakut language is presented. The examples where the verbal means of the category of definiteness-indefiniteness serve as morphological means of inter-phrase connection are stated on the basis of complex syntactic whole as the main unit of the text. It is ascertained that the unity of the tense form of the verbs-predicates is one of the main features of text-formative function of verbal means of expression of the category of definiteness-indefiniteness in the Yakut language.
