Abstract. The article considers the questions of teaching special language courses to foreign military personnel in classes of the Russian language and in the process of independent work with military training and scientific texts. A system of tasks, providing acquaintance with terminology, practice of using terms in students’ oral and written speech, and control of terms mastering, is elaborated. The variants of tasks using Power Point presentations and interactive whiteboards are given.
