Abstract.
The article examines the word-formative peculiarities of words with the affix =ығ in the Khakassian language. In the word-formative process derivative verbal stems with indicators of causative, reciprocally-mutual combinations and causative voices participate. Initially intransitive stems are transformed by means of significant semantic modifications, leading to the appearance of transitivity of verbal stems. This tendency may be defined as the phenomenon of word-formative causation.
