EXPRESSIVE MORPHOLOGY IN SOCIAL AND POLITICAL ESSAYS

Abstract.
The article examines expressive morphological means of language, contributing to the expressiveness of a publicist speech. Word-formative models (productive and non-productive), functions of the parts of speech and structural metaphorical expressions are examined by the author by the example of the texts of The Economist and The Guardian , the subscription of 2014-2015. The paper also discusses the pragmatic aspects, connected with the meaning and interpretation of morphological structures. The statistical analysis of the use of nominative and autonomous and connected metaphors is conducted, the most frequent morphological structures are revealed.
