Abstract.
Orthography is very important in the normalization and stabilization of the literary language, in particular, of the newly created written languages. The article is devoted to the current state of orthography of the Yakut language. Special attention is paid to the being made orthographic dictionary of the Yakut language, which should meet the modern realia of the linguistic situation in the republic.
