THE PECULIARITIES OF POETIC TRANSLATION IN THE CONTEXT OF INTERLINGUOCULTURAL INTERACTION (BY THE EXAMPLE OF THE TRANSLATIONS OF R. KIPLING’S POEM “IF”)

Abstract.
In the article as the example of intelinguocultural interaction the comparative analysis of the translations of R. Kipling’s poem “If” into the Russian and French languages is presented. The authors have taken into account the nuances of the original interpretation associated with different average syllabic length of the word in the considered languages as well as with various capabilities of syntax. The ways and methods of conveying the author's intention in the context of equivalence, adequacy and accuracy while maintaining superconnectivity and supersemantization of all elements of the original have been identified.
