Abstract.
The article conducts the comparative analysis of factors, conditioning the application of transformations in a simultaneous and consecutive interpretation; the realization of transformation of correctional addition in the consecutive interpretation from the Russian into the English language is examined. Special attention is paid to the defining of the main subgroups of this transformation and reasons, conditioning its application.
