Abstract.
The article examines the place and role of the writer’s sub-textual manner in the artistic representation of reality, which is considered in the aspect of artistic creativity and ideology. Speaking of fables and other poetical genres, the use of allusions, symbols and sarcasms as initial elements of the writer’s sub-textual manner allows analyzing the historical and literary peculiarities and traditions of this artistic method on the whole. The author introduces and analyzes in detail the qualitative indicators of the writer’s sub-textual manner as a form of artistic expression, makes generalizations and draws conclusions.
