Abstract.
The article examines the specificity of signs of nonverbal communication in the differentiation system of Sergey Dovlatov’s literary world - irreal and authentic, a hero and a mask. The study allows drawing conclusion that the analysis of nonverbal communicative components gives opportunity to comprehend systematically the structure of Dovlatov’s hero and reflect implicit peculiarities of its communicative behavior in relation to self-identity: naturalness - marionette character - playing expression - eccentrics.
