Abstract.
The article describes gender representations in the English and Russian literary works at the different levels of language system. The authors focus on analyzing the linguistic means to realize gender specifics in the personages’ dialogic speech. The paper also examines the determination of gender peculiarities of verbal tactics and strategies representation by the psychological and socio-cultural factors.
