Abstract.
The article presents possible groups of speech actions of everyday communication: informative, incentive, evaluative-modal, contacting and metacommunicative ones. In the context of this paper one of the groups of speech actions of everyday communication is considered and investigated. It is a group of evaluative-modal actions. The specificity of everyday communication is presented through the lenses of diversity of evaluative-modal actions (concern/compassion, approval/praise, indignation/anger, disapproval/refusal). It is found out that brevity, simplicity of syntactic construction, the presence of demonstrative elements, connecting them with the situation of communication, close link with mimics, gestures, which often possess a cultural and national specificity, are relevant to the evaluative-modal speech actions.
