Abstract.
The article is devoted to the peculiarities of cycle formation in the lyrics of the Silver Age. Both the main ways of lyrical cyclization and additional cycle formative factors are considered. Among the ways of the formation of lyrical cycles the author singles out the leitmotif of music. By the material of M. Kuzmin’s “Alexandrian Songs” the cycle formative role of the musical element is shown. The author studies various manifestations of music in Kuzmin’s lyrics: the genre of the song, sounds, and musical instruments.
