Abstract.
The article reveals the personalization ways of a character from the collection of humorous stories by the Adyghe writer A. Kumyshev “Until better times!” Among techniques, conditioning the constancy of the character, the most important are his speech peculiarities; fixedness of the name, appearing in a number of stories; the image of a life partner, creating a comic contrast; peculiarities of space, acting as the most typical scene for the hero.
