Abstract.
The article highlights and describes punctuation tactics of temporal and spatial organization of a literary discourse. Punctuation marks together with other linguistic means may direct a reader to a true text interpretation. The authors of literary works use the main functions of the sign “dots” such as indication on the incompleteness of the sentence, transition from one thought to another to indicate a temporary ellipsis, pause or spatial-temporal relations in the narration.
