Abstract.
The article presents the analysis of several humorous stories by Teffi from the perspective of the category of game and basing on the motivic analysis. The game in the writer’s creative work is of intertextual nature, and it is often stated in domestic space through an everyday detail, reveals the behavioural patterns and stock phrases, but always metaphysical in its nature.
