Abstract.
The article identifies the main structural types of conditional clauses in the northern dialects of Middle English; the paper analyzes the structural features of this type of sentence, stipulated by the type of connection between the main and subordinate clauses, as well as a list of conjunctions, which function in conditional clauses formed on the basis of SOV- and SVO-models of word order.
