BASHKORTOSTAN IN THE RUSSIAN PROSE OF THE SECOND HALF OF THE XX CENTURY

Abstract.
The article considers the representation of the Bashkir theme in the Russian prose of the second half of the XX century. Among the major topics and problems developed by the writers of that period, the military, industrial, environmental, and moral ones are mentioned. Particular attention is paid to the methods of Bashkortostan multicultural space representation and the reconstruction of the Bashkir national character in the Russian literature. By the specific examples the ideological and literary features of A. Filippov’s, I. Sotnikov’s, I. Slobodchikov’s prose, which has not yet become the object of researchers’ attention, are analyzed.
