THE MOTIVE OF FINDING HAPPINESS IN N. A. NEKRASOV’S CREATIVE WORK

Abstract. The article discovers the originality of felicity motive in N. A. Nekrasov’s creative work. The author analyzes the examples of poet’s appeal to the motive of happiness in the historical and cultural aspect. Studying the correlation of the traditional popular religious conception of ideal and characters’ and lyrical hero’s speculations regarding this issue allows identifying the high level of similarity between them which indicates N. A. Nekrasov’s aspiration to express the peasant’s worldview. The paper identifies two conceptions of happiness motivated by different types of subjects of consciousness and speech in N. A. Nekrasov’s poetry.
