ON SPACE AND TIME ORGANIZATION IN THE ENGLISH SMALL FORM LITERARY TEXT

Abstract.
The article describes the specifics of space and time organization in the story by M. Bowen “The Accident”. The author examines the individual stylistic peculiarities when creating spatial and temporal coordinates in the text with the extremely compressed structure. The writer’s choice of linguistic means and the diversity of their linguistic arrangement contribute to the description of artistic time and space from the different viewpoints - in the aspect of creating statics and dynamics, spatially restricted and unrestricted localization, cutting the temporal paradigm to the size of binominal.
