FROM THE EXPERIENCE OF USING PROJECT METHODOLOGY IN EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES OF STUDENTS STUDYING FRENCH AS A SECOND FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article summarizes the experience of using project methodology in extracurricular activities of students studying French as a second foreign language. The algorithm of working on the preparation and presentation of long-term complex projects, carried out by students with different levels of knowledge of the French language, is presented. The paper describes the requirements for the content and design of projects, stages of their implementation. The author identifies conditions for the successful presentation of results. The impact of this method on improving the students’ motivation and developing their professional competences is defined.
