CULTURAL CODES IN MODERNISTIC POETRY OF MONGOLIAN PEOPLES

Abstract.
This article for the first time considers modernistic tendencies (text fragmentariness, intertextuality, theatricality of reality, its existential instability) in modern poetry of Mongolian peoples. The analysis of contemporary texts aimed at identifying “cultural codes” referring to national traditions seems topical. As a result it is stated that the own Eastern poetic traditions and the way of thinking combining with the “alien one” represented by the code of another cultural tradition introduce the creative work of modern poets into the world and national cultural traditions.
