Abstract.
This article examines the main linguistic-culturological characteristics of modern Quebec toponymy. Toponymical vocabulary is one of the most topical subjects of research in various fields of scientific knowledge that reveals and/or confirms important processes taking place in the society. The purpose of this paper is to identify the basic cultural values of the residents of the Canadian province of Quebec by means of the linguistic-culturological analysis. The conducted analysis is a step towards the reconstruction of the Quebecers’ linguistic worldview.
