Abstract.
The article examines linguistic peculiarities of professional interaction in the British Parliament. The authors emphasize the importance of using pragma-rhetorical approach and studying the history of British Parliament to understand the purpose of using certain linguistic means forming the conception of political figures and power institutions among the mass audience. The paper analyzes the basic differences of parliament communication’s linguistic representation in the House of Lords and House of Commons.
